Mass Trickery (Zombie Apocalypse)

Today I am going to be talking about the unthinkable happening. That raiders and bandits found your hide away and decide to kill you for supplies.

Well actually, first let’s talk about preparation for such an event.

Trickery #1

I would recommend to leave a false map on your person. The map would indicate the whereabouts of your ‘base’. Which in reality, would actually be a trap. This trap can be very unique and creative, but I believe simply attracting a hoard and trapping them inside a building would be satisfactory. Just have some kind of tripwire that, when activated, would open a door with a loud “BANG!”, and hopefully get the bandits eaten alive.
Keep a private stash of guns, ammo, food, and water. Only tell a select few about this stash, as any of your fellow survivors could have switched sides. When captured or your base overrun, if they don’t kill you straight away, bide your time and wait for an escape. Don’t try to overthrow them again unless you got to your secret stash of supplies and you are very confident that you can take out the main enemy figure or likewise destroy their group.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some guns to hide.

The Worst Places to Go (Zombie Apocalyse)

Today I am going to show a video from a YouTuber, ZMZreloaded. Sadly he is no longer active, but I feel he videos still deserve some attention and admiration. What are the worst places to go? Hopefully I, along with some help from ZMZ, shall answer this questions.

Camping out on a roof top for the night is a great idea, find a building that is at least two stories tall, with a strong foundation, made of brick or stone. If no building are in sight, or it is to dangerous, you can stay the night in a tall tree.

Stores in general are a bad place to go. Feel free to loot stores if you survived the initial horror show, but be careful, some people may have survived and are living there.

Avoid going north, unless properly prepared. Many people will die because food and gear will be low. I recommend getting a two story tall farm house and defending that with spikes, ditches, and lots and lots of razor wire.

Zombie Trap #1

Wouldn’t it be so much easier if you didn’t even have to come within a close proximity to a Z to kill it? That would be where traps come in. Here is a zombie trap idea.

The Spikes (Pretty straight forward)
Take a decently large log and sharpen it and prop another one to it. Then tie them together.
Here are some pictures I made in paint to demonstrate:

Of course it wouldn’t be 2D like this, but you get the idea. Here is another picture from the walking dead (not where I got the idea). You can also put a trap with an animal inside so the Z’s are attracted to it and stab themselves right through the chest.

I think this picture shows it a hell of a lot better than what I drew in paint. So that was a huge waste of time on my part.

It should go into the ground to make it more stationary and secure, because right now you and a few of your friends could just move it. So TONS of zombies could probably move it and possibly get through. And usually you don’t want that…                                                                                                                                                                            Other than that it works really well.

If you have any more ideas for other traps or/and if there are any flaws in this idea, let me know down in the comments, so I can fix it and make it better and safer.
